Planning for Music Video: Shortlist of Songs

As a group we decided that we wanted to do a indie/ rock song for our music video. We didn't want to do an obvious song choice such as R'n'B, we wanted to do something more original with an edge to it that would give us more to work with when editing.
These were our final 3 songs choices:

Noah and the Whale - Five Years Time
This is a very cheery happy song that is slower paced than our our other two choices. So if we decided to choose this song as our music video there would not be many fast quick edits or special effects added. The video would have a happy feel about it with people looking as though they are having a fun time and enjoying life.

Two Door Cinema Club - Undercover Martyn
Undercover Martyn is a fast up beat song that also has a happy feel to it and is my favourite choice of the three. If we were to do this song our main enphasis would be on the edits, as it would be a very fast eddited music video unlike the noah and the whale song. There would also be alot of footage of the lead singer as footage of him would be the main basis for the video.

You me at Six - Kiss and Tell
If we wanted to go for a more powerfull rock song, this would be our choice. Kiss and Tell sounds alot more forcefull than the other two choices, with more powerfull vocals and heavier guitar sounds. If we were to do this song we would have close up footage of the guitars and drums to enphasise their role in the song along with a narrative of a boy and girl. However I am aprehensive about doing this song as it will take a more convincing performance from the band for the video to look good, as the singer puts alot of passion into his voice and does alot more shouting than the other two songs. Because of this im worried that it may be hard for us students to emulate as we have never done a performance, therefore i feel the video will not look as good.
